SUNDAY, AUGUST 11 – 5/10 km PT 260 Walk: Meet at Broadmead Shopping Center, 777 Royal Oak Drive, Victoria V8X 4V1. Registration starts at 9:30 am and closes at 9:55 am. The walk starts at 10:00 am. Contact is Marion at 250-477-9851. Marion has selected the Christmas Hill routes. The 10 km walk is rated 3C and climbs to the top of Christmas Hill with glorious panoramic views of Victoria (sorry, no dogs allowed in Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary – there is a bypass route). The 5 km walk is rated 2B and does not go up Christmas Hill but explores several parks and trails in the Broadmead area.
