SATURDAY, MAY 11 – 6/10 Event Walk – John Dean Park: Meet at 1515 McTavish Road, North Saanich V8L 5T3 Registration starts at 9:30 am and closes at 9:50 am. The walk starts at 10:00 am. Contact is Carol J. at 250-818-6870. Both the 10 km (rated 3C) and 5 km (rated 3B) walks follow park trails through beautiful forested areas past scenic viewpoints overlooking the region. There are several groves of old growth Douglas Fir and Garry Oak trees throughout the park.
