SATURDAY, AUGUST 31 – Oaklands Park 5/8/10 km Walk: Meet at parking lot at 1500 Kings Road, Saanich. Registration starts at 9:30 am and closes at 9:55 am. The walk starts at 10:00 am. Contact is Greg at 778-265-7428. Three routes are available. The 10 km route, rated 2B, includes a climb to the top of Mount Tolmie with spectacular views. The 5 and 8 km options, rated 1B, do not go up Mount Tolmie but visit several smaller parks and trails. This an Event Walk – walk fee is $2
