Praised for his unique musical voice and instincts, VC Artist and Violinist JoshuaBrown (June 22/23) has found success in performances and competitions worldwide,continually garnering praise from critics. He gained international attention afterwinning the 2nd Prize and both Audience Awards at the 2024 Queen ElisabethCompetition in Brussels. Joshua won the Gold Medal at the inaugural 2023 GlobalMusic Education International Violin Competition in Beijing, which includes$100,000, international management, and tours. Prior to that he won the1st Prize andAudience Award at the 2019 International Violin Competition of Leopold Mozart inAugsburg, Germany. Just this month Joshua was awarded an Avery Fisher CareerGrant.

Joshua was first recognized for his debut performance with the Cleveland Orchestra.
He has gone on to perform regularly with orchestras around the world, including theMunich Radio Orchestra, MDR Sinfonieorchester (Leipzig), Indianapolis SymphonyOrchestra, Chicago Civic Orchestra, Belgian National Orchestra, and OrchestrePhilharmonique Royal de Liege, among others, continually garnering praise fromcritics.His EKSM programme includes J.S. Bach’s Sonata No 3 in C Major for Solo Violin,Ravel’s Sonata no. 2 in G Major for violin and piano, and (together with the MuseEnsemble) the ultra-expressive F minor piano quintet of César Franck.
