This week brought a number of notes and emails from our dear Readers.
It reminded me that INSPIRED Magazine has an effect far beyond what I could ever have imagined.
One reader from Vancouver called to say he is about to go into the hospital for surgery with a lengthy convalescence. He wanted to order a full year of back issues so he would have something interesting to read while he recovered.
Another reader from Vancouver emailed me to say she sends her magazine to a friend in a retirement residence in Ontario. Because of the isolation, she asked if I would donate a years worth of back issues to her friend so she could share them among the other residents. I was happy to do this.
The third note, a hand-written card, came from a lady in Ontario who receives the magazine from her niece in Duncan, BC. I’ve put this lovely little card on my desk to remind myself that the world is still a kind place. If you are unable to read the card, here’s what it says:
“My niece lives in Duncan BC and she graciously forwards your magazine to me in Toronto. I must congratulate my BC neighbours for such a delightful magazine. The most outstanding feature is the real life stories of people who are living life to the fullest!! It inspires me every time I receive one. The entire magazine is full of good news. Keep up the good work!! Best Regards, Joan
Thank you, everyone, for your kind words… and for helping to spread a little inspiration around to your neighbours, family and friends… for indulging yourself in a little self care at this time of year and thinking of others at the same time.
May you all be blessed, as you bless others.
Warmest regards,
