Our stage program starts at 10:30 with a fashion show by Blue Sky Clothing Co, followed at 11:15 by a Q&A with Bob McDonald, host of CBC Radio “Quirks & Quarks”. Our MCs Lisa Marshall and Michael Forbes (known as Forbes & Marshall) will interview Bob and take questions from the audience.
Like to travel? Then don’t miss our presentations between noon and 1, when three travel companies will present six destinations including at 12:00 Haida Gwaii / New Zealand; 12:20 Churchill / Iceland; 12:40 Okanagan Thanksgiving / Christmas Markets in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
The Victoria Ballroom Dance Society kicks off with a lively demonstration at 1:00, followed by another fashion show by Blue Sky Clothing Co at 1:30. The Victoria Ballroom Dance Society returns after the fashion show at 2:15 for another half hour of dancing.
The show wraps up at 2:45 with our fabulous door prize draws including a 2 night stay at Days Inn on the Harbour, a 4-hour salmon charter by the Cardiac Dudes, admission to Butchart Gardens, a lovely 18×24″ giclee oil on canvas painting by Maureen Ness, and a set of earplugs by the Hard of Hearing Society useful for loud music events.
